About Me
Kelsey Kraaima – A Queen City Blonde
I’m Kelsey Kraaima (cray-muh) – a Queen City blonde. I’ve been doing hair for 13 years and I specialize in short hair and pixie cuts, but I’m great with long hair, too. I specialize in creating soft, dimensional color that looks natural. But I love a good fashion color as well! I can recommend what looks best with your skin tone and face shape.
I relocated to Charlotte in the summer of 2018 from Utah. I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a hairstylist because I love being creative and making people feel good about themselves. I decided to start beauty school as a junior in high school and graduated two months before high school graduation at just 17 years old. As soon as I graduated, I immediately started working at an Aveda salon and have been helping people look and feel more beautiful ever since!
When I’m not at the salon, I enjoy doing yoga, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with my husband, two crazy dogs, and two (even crazier) boys.
