FAQs

Will extensions damage my hair?

No! I am certified in the habit extension method which is a very safe and comfortable install method resulting in no breakage. It uses beads and string as the anchor to then sew on the extension wefts. No harsh glues or tape!

How long do the extensions last?

The extensions grow out with your natural hair and will need to be moved up every 6-8 weeks. The hair itself can be used for 9 – 12 months depending on how well you take care of it.

How much do extensions cost?

The price ranges from $900 – $1300 for first time install and the cost of hair, depending on how much hair you will need and how many rows we do. Most people need two rows, but some can do only one row if they want just thickness and not much length. Move up is $175 per row every 6-8 weeks.

I want to get extensions! What do I do now?

First, you will need to schedule a consultation. There we will go over what you are wanting and determine how much hair we will need. The cost of the hair is paid up front, and then an install fee on the day of service. Hair is not kept on-site, after we determine what colors and how much we will need, I order it and we can do the install the following week.

  As a 51 year old woman,  I have had many hairdressers. I can honestly say without a doubt that Kelsey is the absolute best hairdresser I’ve ever had.
